Boating and water activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to drowning, injury, motion sickness, sun exposure, marine life encounters, weather changes, and equipment failure. By booking a charter or participating in any activity arranged through the Platform, you voluntarily assume all such risks.
2. BoatSnaps Is Not Responsible for Safety
BoatSnaps does not own, operate, captain, inspect, or maintain any vessels. BoatSnaps is not responsible for weather, mechanical failures, accidents, injuries, Coast Guard actions, permit violations, or the safety conduct of operators, captains, or crew. Operators are solely responsible for passenger safety, vessel condition, and crew qualifications.
3. Verification Is Not a Safety Guarantee
Verified status on the Platform indicates that certain documents have been reviewed. It is not a guarantee of safety, quality, or legal compliance. You are responsible for your own due diligence.
4. Passenger Responsibilities
Passengers must follow all safety instructions from the captain and crew, wear life jackets when required, and disclose any medical conditions that may affect participation. Passengers must not engage in behavior that endangers themselves or others.
5. Minors
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult and supervised at all times. The adult assumes all risk on behalf of the minor.
6. Emergencies
In an emergency, follow the captain's instructions and contact local emergency services. BoatSnaps is not an emergency service provider.
