How the BoatSnaps verification program works.

On this page

1. Purpose of Verification

The BoatSnaps verification program reviews certain operator documents to provide additional trust signals on the Platform. Verification may include review of licenses, insurance, and identity documents.

2. Verification Process

Operators submit documents for review. BoatSnaps evaluates submitted documents and grants verified status if the requirements are met. Verification is not continuous monitoring; it reflects a point-in-time review.

3. Not a Guarantee

Verified status is not a guarantee of quality, safety, or legal compliance. Operators are solely responsible for maintaining their licenses, insurance, permits, and compliance. Verified status may lapse if documentation expires or is revoked.

4. Verification Fees

BoatSnaps may charge a verification fee. Fees are non-refundable once verification begins, except where required by law.

5. Revocation

BoatSnaps may revoke verified status at any time if an operator's documentation lapses, is found to be falsified, or if the operator violates our policies.

6. Display of Verified Status

Verified status is displayed on listings and profiles. It must not be misrepresented or used to imply guarantees beyond the scope of this policy.
